1About these terms

These terms apply when you use the Globbi website and buy or use a Globbi eSIM. Globbi is the trading name of [COMPANY LEGAL NAME], a company registered under number [COMPANY REGISTRATION NUMBER], whose registered address is [REGISTERED ADDRESS] (“we”, “us”).

By placing an order you agree to these terms, our Refund policy and our Privacy policy. Please read them before you buy. We'll show the version in force on the date of your order; you can save or print this page for your records.

If you're a consumer, nothing in these terms affects the legal rights you have under the law of the country where you live.

2Our service

  • We sell prepaid, data-only eSIM plans for mobile data while travelling. Each plan shows its destination(s), data allowance, validity period and network details on its page.
  • Our eSIMs don't come with a phone number and don't support standard calls or SMS, unless a plan page clearly says it includes voice or SMS. You can keep your regular SIM switched on for calls and texts.
  • The mobile service itself is provided by our eSIM supplier and its partner mobile network operators. We sell and support the plans, but we don't own or run the networks.
  • No identity check is needed for our current plans. If a future plan requires one by law, we'll tell you before you buy.

3Who can buy

  • You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to buy from us. Younger travellers can use an eSIM bought for them by a parent or guardian, who is responsible for its use.
  • Our plans are for personal use. Business or bulk purchases need our written agreement.

4Your device

Before you buy, it's your responsibility to make sure your device:

  • supports eSIM (see our compatibility list — quick test: dial *#06# and look for an EID), and
  • is carrier-unlocked, so it can use networks other than your home carrier's.

You'll confirm both at checkout. Refunds for incompatible or locked devices are covered by the Refund policy: unused eSIMs can be refunded within 30 days if they've never been activated.

5Prices, payment and promo codes

  • Prices are shown on each plan page and at checkout, and include any taxes we're required to charge unless stated otherwise.
  • We charge in USD. If you choose to view prices in another currency, those amounts are estimates for convenience; your bank or card issuer may apply its own exchange rate and fees.
  • Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
  • Promo codes are optional, have no cash value, can't be combined unless we say so, and may have their own conditions or expiry dates. We may withdraw a code that is being misused.
  • You can buy up to 5 eSIMs per order (one per traveller and device).
  • If we make an obvious pricing mistake, we'll contact you before delivering your eSIM and offer you the correct price or a full refund.

6Your order and delivery

  • Your contract with us starts when we confirm your order and show you your eSIM details. We may decline an order — for example, if payment fails or we suspect fraud — and if we do, you won't be charged.
  • Your eSIM is delivered digitally and instantly: we show a QR code, install link and manual installation details on screen, and they're saved under My eSIMs on the device you used.
  • Delivery is immediate, so cancellation is limited. At checkout you ask us to supply your eSIM straight away and acknowledge that, once your eSIM has been activated, you can no longer cancel it. Before activation, you can cancel and get a refund within 30 days of purchase under our Refund policy.

7Installing and keeping your eSIM safe

  • Install your eSIM before you travel, on a reliable Wi-Fi connection, following the instructions we give you.
  • Each eSIM can be installed on one device, usually only once. Don't delete the eSIM from your device once installed — in most cases it can't be downloaded again, and a deleted eSIM isn't refundable once it has been activated.
  • Treat your QR code and activation code like a key. Anyone who has them can install your eSIM, so don't share them. We aren't responsible for use of your eSIM by someone you shared these details with.
  • If you have trouble installing, contact us before trying again and we'll help.

8Validity and activation

  • Your plan's validity period starts when the eSIM first connects to a supported network in a covered destination, not when you buy or install it.
  • Your plan ends when its validity period runs out or its data is used up, whichever comes first. Unused data and days expire at the end of the plan and can't be refunded, carried over or transferred.
  • Some plans must be activated within a set time after purchase. Where that applies, we'll show it on the plan page.

9Coverage and network performance

  • Each plan works only in the destinations listed on its page. Coverage, speed (for example, 4G or 5G) and availability depend on the local networks, your location, your device and how busy the network is. We can't guarantee uninterrupted service or particular speeds.
  • Networks may be affected by outages, maintenance, natural events, government shutdowns or local regulations. These are outside our control and aren't grounds for a refund, as explained in the Refund policy.
  • In some destinations, your data may be routed through another country (for example, mainland China plans route via Hong Kong). This can affect which services and websites you can reach.
  • Plans that run on the Vodafone or O2 networks work only in their officially supported countries. Using them elsewhere causes the eSIM to be disabled automatically, without a refund.

10Fair use and acceptable use

  • Unlimited plans have no data cap, but each includes a daily amount of full-speed data shown on the plan page (for example 1 GB or 2 GB a day). After that, speeds are reduced (typically to 256 kbps) for the rest of that day, and full speed returns the next day.
  • Hotspot / tethering is allowed on all current plans, for your own devices and travel companions.
  • You must not use your eSIM:
    • for anything illegal, fraudulent or harmful, or to infringe others' rights;
    • to resell, rent out or share the service commercially, or in SIM boxes, gateways or other equipment that routes traffic for third parties;
    • to send spam, attack networks or systems, or in any way that harms the network or other users;
    • in a way that breaks the rules of the local network or the law of the country you're in.

If you break these rules, we or our network partners may slow, suspend or end your service without a refund.

11Top-ups

  • You can add data to an existing eSIM from Top up. A top-up applies to that eSIM only and follows the validity and coverage of the top-up plan you choose.
  • Top-ups are supplied immediately and are non-refundable once they've been added to your eSIM.
  • Please check you've selected the right eSIM or entered the correct ICCID. We can't move a top-up to a different eSIM once it's been applied.

12Refunds

Our Refund policy forms part of these terms. In short:

  • Instant refund for verified technical issues where the eSIM hasn't been activated or used.
  • 30-day window for unused eSIMs that have never been activated.
  • No refund for eSIMs that have been activated or used, for network outages outside our control, for Vodafone/O2 plans used outside their supported countries, or for plans that include voice or SMS.

Approved refunds go back to your original payment method. Your bank may take a few business days to show them.

13Our responsibility to you

  • We'll provide our service with reasonable care and skill, and as described on our website.
  • We're responsible for losses you suffer that are a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms. We're not responsible for losses that weren't foreseeable, or for business losses (such as lost profits, business opportunities or business interruption).
  • We're not responsible for things outside our reasonable control, including network outages, roaming restrictions, government action, or problems caused by your device, its settings or its compatibility.
  • Unless the law says otherwise, our total responsibility to you for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
  • Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that the law doesn't allow us to limit, including your statutory rights as a consumer.

14Suspending or ending the service

We (or our network partners) may suspend or end an eSIM, without a refund where these terms allow, if:

  • you break the acceptable use rules or these terms in a serious way;
  • we reasonably suspect fraud, a stolen payment method or unlawful use; or
  • we're required to by law, a regulator or a network operator.

Where we can, we'll tell you first and give you a chance to put things right. If we end a service for a reason that isn't your fault, we'll refund you for the unused part of your plan.

15Your information

We use your personal data as described in our Privacy policy. The “My eSIMs” page stores your order and eSIM details in your browser on the device you used. If you clear your browser data or switch devices, contact us and we can resend your eSIM details.

16Intellectual property

The Globbi name, logo, the Globbi character, and the content and design of this website belong to us or our licensors. You may use the website for personal, non-commercial purposes, and share our official sticker pack for fun. You may not copy, adapt or use our branding commercially without our written permission.

17Changes to the service and these terms

  • We may change these terms, our plans or our prices, for example to reflect changes in law, in our suppliers' terms or in how we run our service.
  • Changes don't affect an order you've already paid for, unless the law or a network operator requires it — in that case we'll tell you, and if the change is significantly to your disadvantage you can cancel and get a refund for any unused part of your plan.
  • The version that applies to you is the one shown on the date of your order.

18Complaints and disputes

If something goes wrong, please email support@globbi.example with your order number (it starts with GLB-) or your eSIM's ICCID. We aim to reply within 2 business days and to resolve complaints as quickly as we can.

These terms are governed by the law of [GOVERNING LAW, e.g. England and Wales / Singapore]. If you're a consumer, you can also rely on the mandatory consumer protection laws of the country where you live, and bring a claim in the courts of that country or of [GOVERNING LAW, e.g. England and Wales / Singapore].

19General

  • Whole agreement: these terms, together with the Refund policy, Privacy policy and the details shown at checkout, are the whole agreement between you and us.
  • Transfers: we may transfer our rights and obligations to another organisation, but this won't reduce your rights. You may not transfer yours without our written agreement.
  • Third parties: no one other than you and us has any right to enforce these terms.
  • Severability: if a court finds part of these terms invalid, the rest stays in force.
  • No waiver: if we don't enforce a right straight away, we can still enforce it later.
